Pet Sematary by Stephen King | 1983 UK First Edition

A particularly attractive first UK edition, first impression of Stephen King's Pet Sematary, published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1983.

The copyright page states “First printed 1983,” confirming the first impression. The book retains its original striking dust jacket, designed by Ian Hughes with the memorable cemetery illustration by Gerald Grace. The jacket is unclipped and retains the original £8.95 net UK price on the front flap.

The black hardcover binding is exceptionally well preserved, with bright gilt lettering to the spine and clean, sharp boards. The interior is likewise remarkably fresh and clean, with no writing or ownership markings noted.

Condition: Near Fine to Fine book in an excellent Very Good+ to Near Fine dust jacket. The book itself presents exceptionally well, with an interior that appears virtually unread. The original unclipped jacket remains bright and complete with strong color and only light surface and edge wear consistent with age.

A beautiful example of one of Stephen King's best-known novels and an increasingly collectible early British King edition.
