A handsome collection of nine antique volumes from the works of Charles Dickens, published in Boston by DeWolfe, Fiske & Co. circa the 1880s.

Each volume is bound in matching brown publisher’s cloth with elaborate floral decoration to the covers and spines, accented with gilt lettering. The books are illustrated throughout with classic scenes and characters from Dickens’ works. Particularly appealing are the interiors, which remain generally clean and well preserved for books approaching 140 years of age.
