A scarce original 1912 edition of this wonderfully titled early American cookbook by Kentucky author Nannie Talbott Johnson. Published in Louisville by the Pentecostal Publishing Company, Cake, Candy and Culinary Crinkles was written as a companion to Johnson's earlier What to Cook and How to Cook It.

Original copies of this 1912 edition are scarce on the antiquarian market, particularly compared with the modern reproductions of the title that are now available. This is the genuine period edition, retaining its original decorated cloth binding with distinctive black lettering, red rules and a small red decorative device on the front board.
