Published in Leipzig by Karl Baedeker and extensively revised for this edition, the guide contains a remarkable collection of late-19th-century cartography and illustrations: 29 maps and plans, 48 ground plans, and 65 views and text illustrations.

Condition: Good antique condition internally with notable wear to the binding. The original red cloth shows rubbing, discoloration, edge wear, and fraying at the head and foot of the spine. There is splitting/separation along portions of the front joint. Gilt lettering remains strong and attractive. Interior pages show expected age toning but are generally clean, while the maps and plans examined remain particularly attractive with strong detail and color.
